Celebrating Ethics Week at JM - 17th to 21st October 2022
This week we鈥檙e celebrating Ethics Week at Johnson Matthey. It鈥檚 a week to shine the spotlight on our culture of Doing the Right Thing and a great opportunity to think about what that looks like in each of our roles.
Throughout the week, we鈥檒l hear from the newer members of JM鈥檚 leadership team who will share their personal stories on what Doing the Right Thing means to them. We鈥檒l also share a real-life example from a commercial colleague who found themselves in a tricky situation with a third party and their Code of Ethics training was put to the test 鈥� with success!
Code of Ethics training
We will use the week to launch our annual Code of Ethics online training to all colleagues. The training reminds us all of our JM values and enables everyone to acknowledge their personal responsibility for conducting business ethically, whilst protecting JM鈥檚 reputation.
Celebrating around the world with our Ethics Ambassadors
At JM, we are proud to have an established Ethics Ambassador (EA) network in place. Our EAs play an integral role in helping to raise the awareness and importance of Doing the Right Thing at JM sites around the globe.
During Ethics Week, our EAs will be running activities to engage employees globally 鈥� from fun quizzes and team tasks, to sharing ethical dilemmas and hosting decision making discussions. It鈥檚 an opportunity for everyone to pause and reflect on what 鈥楧oing the Right Thing鈥� really means at JM.
鈥淓thics Week is a time for colleagues across JM to pause and think about what Doing the Right Thing looks like here. We all have an important part to play in protecting and strengthening JM鈥檚 ethical culture.鈥�
